We are able to support hundreds of Orphaned children and widowed women in the the war torn areas in Nigeria especially the IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) in the Northern part through one of our Partners, Biu Inspired Foundation (BIF). BIF, registered in Nigeria was birthed in 2014 in the heat of the Boko Haram crisis in Borno State, Nigeria.
Their focus is on feeding and educating the internally displaced persons whose communities receive little or no aid. BIF places priority on children and women, sending clothing and foodstuff donated by individual benefactors to affected areas periodically.
They currently have presence in Borno and Plateau States in Nigeria. They aim to create sustainable processes that will ease IDPs back to normalcy eventually. Taking the burden of feeding and educating children goes a long way towards achieving this objective.
