The Heads Up Program (HUP) is offered year round. It is designed to equip women with the tools they need to be economically and socially self-sufficient and self-reliant. The HUP provides job-skills training and basic business education. The women are also informed about their rights and values as members of the society.
The goal of the HUP includes:
Life Sustenance -Income generation and asset management
Health and Wellness – Awareness, protection and prevention
Ownership – Family and community decision-making
Social networks and safety nets – Solidarity for support and protection
The programmatic objectives of HUP will be accomplished through a year round series of events including:campaigns, seminars, workshops, Substance, and physical abuse support groups and treatment program, training in job skills and small business ownership.
